Did you know the primary fear that people have nowadays is the fear of what people think of them? The primary fear that people used to have...Death.

We live in a time where self-consciousness and insecurity are compensated for by attention-seeking behaviours and lack of modesty. Yet we could easily be hit by a car while walking across a street. Worrying about what people think can be far more burdensome than watching out for that guy driving his BMW while talking on his cell phone. We're really not afraid of that guy are we?
